There are new trucks available now that aren't as nicely finished and comfortable as this 1956 ford f-100. A frame-off restoration and attention to detail gives it a period-correct presentation. But there are also amazing upgrades like the leather interior, a/c, and a performance-built 302ci v8 - and the whole build is unbelievably fresh with under 100 miles on it. There's no denying that the mid-50s ford pickups were some of the best-looking tools ford motor division ever built, and this is the cream of the crop. The curvy bodywork has a classic old pickup look that also manages to be sporty at the same time. And the cab's aggressive forward-leaning appearance furthers this appeal. Even the original badges on the side of the hood and doors remain in place. They act like pointers to the dazzling new chrome front grille and bumper. While this ford is a show-stopper, don't be surprised if people actually spend more time looking at the rear of this one. Just like the exterior, the interior has plenty of period-correct charm and all the best upgrades. The standard bench seat has been replaced with a custom leather setup. It has a great presentation with matching door panels and the red stitching that connects this to the rest of the interior's color. At first glance, the whole dash area might appear very period-correct, including the vintage heater and thin black steering wheel. But this one hides some pretty cool upgrades. For example, the gauges look stock, but it's really a custom setup with a well-integrated tach. The air conditioning looks like the old-school ford unit but its blowing cold modern r134a. So just like the best nostalgia, the interior looks authentic, but its exceptionally more comfortable than it came from the factory. While the interior and exterior impress with period-correct presentation, the engine bay is filled with new ford power. This is ford's powerful 302 cubic-inch v8 and there's only 80 miles on the fresh crate motor. It looks fantastic in the engine bay with features like the ford racing valve covers, as well as polished components like the compressor, pulleys, brackets, stylized air topper and so much more. But beyond its style is some serious substance. This makes some big power and a sweet rumble from the dual exhaust. More than just look great, this pickup was built to be a driver, too. That's why the v8 is mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Plus, this has power steering and front disc brakes. This custom build perfectly combines classic looks, modern conveniences, and high horsepower. Air Conditioning
