We love first generation ford broncos because they have the classic silhouette, are a cool convertible around town, and have the 4x4 prowess to go off-road at a moment's notice. It's a skill set that never goes out of style, especially when all these qualities have been enhanced so well on an example like this one. There's even liner paint in the bed to make sure this one can be useful without harming its bright image. And this bronco was absolutely worth investing in, because 1966 was the first model year of this now legendary nameplate. But this one goes beyond just vintage appeal. It really hits at the heart of a beefy 4x4 with its blacked-out grille, black bumpers, tinted windows, and large hood scoop. It has that unmistakably meaner stance that shows this suv takes fun very seriously. Even the bright wheels have an aggressive tone thanks to the large pro comp mud terrain tires attached to them. While this one looks like a cool pickup with the hardtop on, and we love the fully-enclosed/secured cabin, this bronco looks even better then it's open to the world. After all, the custom black interior coordinates so nicely with all the exterior black components. It starts with the seats. More than just upgraded performance, there are also components that enhance the reliability, such as the thick radiator, msd coil, and optima red top battery. So, in total, this is a trustworthy package with one heck of an exhaust growl. It's backed by a three-speed manual transmission, front disc brakes, and a dana 300 two-speed transfer case feeding beefy 10-bolt axles. Broncos have a tough off-road attitude, including being the first consumer 4x4 to utilize front coil springs. That legacy is only enhanced with this lifted suspension and upgraded components from tom's bronco parts. Complete with build receipts, here's a classic 4x4 with great history that's enhanced to go play every day. This is the bronco represents maximum eye-appeal on the road and maximum fun off the road.
